It’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy a little joe …
Sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything that we want to do in life. Unfortunately for me, my hectic work schedule got more hectic-er. In fact, I ended up logging more than 70 hours this week … and if you include my airline travel, it was 86 hours in all. So I hope you’ll forgive me this week for mailing this edition in; I am simply too tired and need to take a break.
That being said, it’s a good kind of tired. Working in the corporate world on impossible high-pressure deadlines makes my head spin — but I also find it extremely exhilarating.
Anyway … God willing, I intend to be back with a fresh full-bodied cup of Black Coffee for you next week — if I don’t keel over from exhaustion first.
Credits and Debits
Debit: Although airplanes seem to be getting bigger, why do the airlines insist on cramming more seats than ever into them? I hear you –that is a really dumb question.

Last Week’s Poll Results
Prenups: Good idea?
- It depends (47%)
- Yes (37%)
- No (10%)
- I’m not sure (6%)
More than 800 Len Penzo dot Com readers responded to last week’s question and almost 2 in 5 say a marriage prenup is definitely worth the effort; another 10% think it’s a bad idea. Just under half of the respondents think it depends on the circumstances. I agree. When it comes to prenups, I think there are far too many variables in life to give a one-size-fits-all answer. And, no, the Honeybee and I don’t have one. She made it perfectly clear before we got married that what’s hers is hers and what’s mine is hers. Hey … it made sense at the time.

Letters, I Get Letters
Every week I feature the most interesting question or comment — assuming I get one, that is. And folks who are lucky enough to have the only question in the mailbag get their letter highlighted here whether it’s interesting or not! You can reach out to me at: Len@LenPenzo.com
After reading my article explaining why private schools are a financial rip-off, Jack left these words of encouragement in the comments section:
Good job kicking this hornet’s nest, Len!
Thank you, Jack. That article definitely created quite a buzz this week.
