The Connection Between Web Conferencing and Personal Finance

By Sabado Domingo

Saving every penny is something even the most financially stable corporate companies would be interested in at this time of recession. Hence managers are forced to come up with alternative business solutions to reduce costs involved in operation and at the same time make businesses more frugal than ever before. But achieving such tight financial regulations is not such a big problem if you think smart about your business operations.

With the advent of technology, getting and staying connected with people is no longer a difficult proposition to achieve. Be it on a personal basis or from a business point of view, collaborating and communicating with one another or in a group has become quite easy thanks to the several communication tools that we have access today. Multi-party communication simultaneously is achieved via technologies such as live web conferencing. With live web conferencing, your clients can talk with you over the internet for almost free if you skip the internet charges your business has to incur.

According to Gartner’s Web Conferencing Magic Quadrant reports, “web conferencing is now a key capability for specific business processes, and a requirement for strategic unified communications and collaboration buying decisions.”

For example, consider the case where your business executives have to meet up constantly with clients spread out in all corners of the globe; travel charges would accumulate to such a high level that it could seriously impact your profits.

Staying in touch with your businesses main funding targets is quite easy. You save a lot of money through adaption of such collaborative technologies, which is ultimately reflected in your yearly profit statements. And the extra money you save can be utilized either for the improvement of your business further or you can use it as a backup investment plan with an eye out for future survival.

Without a doubt, business owners would like to see their businesses making profit as early as possible. The capital they invest should nurture returns quickly as today’s grim economic situation calls for tougher financial constraints in terms of funding for expansion, so sorting out any inefficiency, unproductive work, delay or error in your business processes or its procedures is vital. Talking with your clients in a real time environment right from your office whenever possible can help save money by avoiding travel to distant client locations.

Web conferencing not only limits travel costs, but it also protects the environment by reducing the carbon footprint your physical travel is going to create.

More than ever before, web conferencing offers a wide variety of choices and options for today’s business enterprises to collaborate effectively. And since technology is always improving, we can expect even bigger surprises in this sector in the very near future.

Your article targets business environment. But saving money in long distance phone calls is a must for us. We use Skype to communicate with friends and family. That’s free.

I work full time from home as an IT professional. My employer saves on space for my desk (their building is currently maxed out), electricity, garbage, water, insurance, liability claims, office supplies and probably a host of other things because I work from home 100% of the time.

I get to avoid traffic, save money on gas and car insurance, save money on work clothes, and save a lot of time driving to and from work.

I don’t know why many businesses do not consider such a model for at least part of their employees. Web conferencing is just the tip of the iceberg.

So it is the same thing like webinars being hosted by different portal online. I used to register and participate in webinars of http://www.24option.com trading binary options, and I think it is more practical than to learn it or attend a real seminar about binary options.
