4 Ways to Save Money on Social Media Promotion Campaigns

By Sabado Domingo

A good promotion campaign is essential for the growth of any business. But a good campaign doesn’t always mean an expensive one. The modern Internet has dozens of ways to create a great promotion without spending your last money and hoping for success. Any business, even the one that only starts its way to success, deserves a chance to show its goods to the world and be appreciated. With that in mind, let’s see how you can save money on promotion via social media.

Use native promotion instruments

Each social media network has its ways to make the newly created accounts famous — otherwise, there will be no reason to create them at all. Learn what the social network you chose has to offer you. Mostly social media even provide tutorials to help you use these instruments properly and quickly promote your newly created business among your target audience.

The algorithms of modern social media are extremely sensitive and intelligent. They can “see” the good content, high-quality and unique photos, fascinating texts or potentially viral statements. Usually, a social media platform itself is ready to support good content, showing it to more people. If this content gets enough “watch to like” ratio, the algorithms are “persuaded” that the content is really good and continue further, promoting it even more.

Try everything, pay for the most effective

There is always a temptation to pay for every method available to promote your newly created business to make its path to fame and fortune the shortest. But this approach often leads to excessive expenses and low response. Sometimes it’s better to use free samples (if you are using a particular app or an advertisement agency) and choose what you are really ready to pay for.

Such an experiment may bring you unexpected results. Sometimes it appears that you can do a lot of work normally done by an advertisement agency by yourself and for free. Sometimes, if you are exploring Google Analytics or similar instruments, you may see that particular ad instruments are incredibly effective in comparison with the rest. They definitely deserve to get some budget while some others may be cut down.

Good content sells itself

The most effective marketing strategies are always based on quality content. You can bring someone to the water, but you can’t make them drink. Make sure that you have high-quality content that may get viral or at least be read with interest by lots of people. Ask your friends and devoted fans to re-post your content and see how people react.

The best thing you can do for your marketing is to create content consistently. People love predictability. Make them get used to seeing your posts on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays (or whenever you want to post them) and enjoy the increase of traffic these days. Such an approach is quite time-consuming, but it is the most organic and reliable way to tap onto your target audience’s interests.

Ask influencers to help

If your business can interest some people who already have an established audience, your social media rating can skyrocket instantly. Ask them to test your production and write or record a review about it. Make a gift, giving them something you produce (but asking them first, of course!). Create a common challenge or make a podcast together to bring your brand to light.

The main thing is that the exchange isn’t equal. You need to think about what you can offer to the influencers for them to share some fame with you. Be polite, and don’t push too much. Even if some people refuse you, you’ll definitely find someone ready to help and sincerely interested in what you are doing.

Marketing wasn’t invented to be expensive and available only for some elite businesses. It is a set of tools anyone can use and get remarkable results even with the smallest budget or for free at all. By refining your approach and learning the marketing techniques and methods, you may create a perfect promotion campaign, based on your gathered data and proven strategies. This way demands some of your time, effort and devotion, but it will pay you back by forming a satisfied and genuinely interested audience.
