If you’re traveling you obviously want to know how much luggage you need to take. If you’re staying in a furnished apartment on your travels this means that you’ll need to know what is included in the rental. Do you need to make sure you have items such as bedding and towels with you? If so, this can have a serious effect on the amount of luggage you have to take when you travel.
With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at what you need to do about towels and bedding when you stay in a furnished apartment, and what other amenities you can expect to find.
Do you need to take bedding and towels with you?
If you are staying in a furnished apartment it may well be that a certain amount of bed linen, and some towels, are included. You’ll need to check with the landlord concerning what supplies are provided. It’s also important to remember that you have washing facilities provided. This means that if sufficient bedding and towels are provided it should not be necessary to take your own with you. You can simply wash and re-use the items that are included in the rental.
What other amenities can you expect to find in a furnished apartment?
Staying in a furnished apartment should be like living in a home away from home. If you choose the right provider of furnished rentals in the upper west side and other areas you have the comfort of being able to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Furnished apartments have kitchens with all the modern appliances you would expect, such as cooking facilities and a washing machine.
This means that you can enjoy eating the food you like as opposed to having to choose from a restricted menu in a hotel restaurant. It also means that you can have access to clean clothes without having to pay additional fees for hotel laundry services. You will also find that many furnished apartments have impressive modern amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, the latest in televisions and high quality sound systems. You have access to all of the amenities you would expect to use in your own home, often with some extras.
If you are traveling you may not want to have a lot of heavy luggage to carry with you. This is why it’s so useful to have access to items such as towels and bedding in a furnished apartment without having to bring your own. It’s a good idea to check with the landlord to see what is provided, before you travel. As you can see, you also have access to amenities that help make you feel right at home.
You get to experience all the fun of staying in a different environment while also being able to feel relaxed as you can choose your own activities and schedule in complete privacy. That is the ideal combination for an enjoyable travel experience.

Well, if make sure the place has laundry equipment and that it WORKS. I spent a month in Lindon on a place where they advertised a washer dryer. While the listed the equipment in their ad it didn’t, in fact, function.
Frugal tip: carry laundry detergent in a sealed plastic container, inside a zipper plastic bag for extra security. I like the little pouches which are pre-measured for easy use on the road.

It would be smart to find out exactly what is included before you move in. It would be uncomfortable to discover that you are missing something as simple as bed sheets. It wouldn’t be the most inconvenient thing ever conceived, but it would definitely be an annoyance.
