So with that in mind, let&#8217;s get this party started &#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Until governments can prove their interests are with the people, and politicians refrain from defrauding the masses through currency debasement for the sake of remaining in office, the wiser ones will prefer to keep as much of their wealth in the most stable and marketable forms possible &#8211; forms which only the precious metals provide.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>\u2014 Elgin Groseclose<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>The Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>&#8211; Anonymous<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Credits and Debits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Debit:<\/strong><\/span> Did you see this? Roughly 70% of the country&#8217;s wealth is now in the hands of just 10% of the population, while the bottom half has only <a href=\"https:\/\/kingworldnews.com\/leeb-this-global-collapse-will-be-much-worse-than-2008\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about 3% of wealth<\/a>. When focusing only on savings and bank deposits, the numbers are even more skewed; 40% of <em><strong>those<\/strong><\/em> deposits are held by the top 1%, with the top 10% accounting for nearly all the rest. Now Texas legislators have introduced a bill that would create a state-issued, <a href=\"https:\/\/legiscan.com\/TX\/bill\/SB2334\/2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gold-backed digital currency<\/a>. Enactment of this legislation would create an option for people to transact business in sound money, set the stage to undermine the Federal Reserve&#8217;s monopoly on money and create a viable alternative to a central bank digital currency (CBDC). And unlike the bill in Congress, this one will probably pass. Furthermore, the new digital currency is also required to be fully redeemable in cash or gold. And, no; this is not a late April Fool&#8217;s day joke. Let&#8217;s just hope those Texas legislators don&#8217;t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. As for those of you who prefer a more graphic description of what I&#8217;m talking about, let&#8217;s go to the tape:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dcBc-zJ3QxY?rel=0&amp;controls=0&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Debit:<\/strong><\/span> Meanwhile, the world&#8217;s central banks are continuing to develop and experiment central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), which are the latest tool by governments and central bankers in their dangerously misguided war on cash. Why are they so dangerous? Because elimination of cash creates the potential for governments to not only track, but also <em><strong>control<\/strong><\/em> consumer spending. In fact, to no one&#8217;s surprise, Nigeria is currently in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/consensus-magazine\/2023\/03\/06\/nigerians-rejection-of-their-cbdc-is-a-cautionary-tale-for-other-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a mighty struggle<\/a> to win public acceptance of its CBDC. If it is universally adopted, they will afford the bankers complete control over our daily lives. The surveillance grid will be omnipresent and every aspect of our lives will be engineered.&#8221; Yes, it&#8217;s disturbing &#8212; but not surprising. Just ask this guy:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/c2gw-asbBIM?start=39&amp;end=56;rel=0&amp;controls=0&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Debit:<\/strong><\/span> For those looking for some encouraging news, there is a bill in Congress that would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruz.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/sen-cruz-introduces-legislation-to-prohibit-the-fed-from-establishing-a-central-bank-digital-currency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prohibit the Fed<\/a> from establishing a CBDC, although the odds of it ever becoming law are far from certain. Let&#8217;s hope it does become law because, according to Davis, &#8220;the whole point of a CBDC is to control the herd and enhance the power and authority of the parasite class. CBDC is a social engineering tool designed to establish a prison planet. Unless you want to be a slave, there is no possible justification for using CBDC. How superior? Well &#8230; Professor William Greene, who is an expert on constitutional tender, said in a paper for the Mises Institute that when enough Americans actually start using gold instead of Federal Reserve notes, it would effectively nullify the Fed and end the federal government&#8217;s monetary system monopoly. Until then, the Fed will remain trapped in its monetary policy roach motel where any attempts to ease banking stress by lowering interest rates will accelerate price inflation and hasten the demise of the USD, while further tightening monetary policy will <a href=\"https:\/\/sprott.com\/insights\/sprott-precious-metals-report-gold-bulls-run-faster-as-fed-tackles-banking-crisis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">place even more pressure on banks<\/a> and increase the likelihood of an outright financial depression. For now, the banking crisis seems to be taking precedence over fighting inflation. The good news is the other three engines are just fine. However, please be advised that it&#8217;s going to take us an extra 15 minutes to reach our destination. We apologize for the inconvenience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A little while later the pilot once again got on the intercom to inform the passengers that <em><strong>another<\/strong><\/em> engine had failed. However, he quickly reassured them by explaining that, &#8220;Although losing two engines is an extremely rare event, you need to know that there is absolutely nothing to worry about, as this plane is perfectly capable of safely flying with just two working engines; the only rub is that we&#8217;ll have to push our ETA back another 30 minutes. Once again, we&#8217;re sorry for the inconvenience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fifteen minutes later, the pilot came back on the intercom yet again. This time he announced that a third engine had stopped working. After asking the passengers to remain calm and apologizing for the continued problems, he said, &#8220;Unfortunately, this means we&#8217;re going to be in the air for an extra hour because we now have just one working engine. Again, we&#8217;re very sorry. But thank you all for your continued patience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Upon hearing this, one passenger looked at the fellow sitting next to him and said, &#8220;Sheesh.
