In case you need more evidence that these Fed-juiced markets are a total sham, consider this: A live-streamed hamster named Mr. Goxx has been independently trading a portfolio of cryptocurrencies since June 12 and has <a href=\"https:\/\/markets.businessinsider.com\/news\/currencies\/hamster-trading-cryptocurrencies-rigged-cage-goxx-bitcoin-price-ether-doge-2021-9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a 24% gain<\/a> to show for it. No, really. Oh &#8230; and for those of you looking for a few hot tips, the hamster currently holds Ether, Tron and Ripple&#8217;s XRP. Even so &#8230; it&#8217;s still a prodigious move made possible only by the Fed.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Credit:<\/strong><\/span> Don&#8217;t think the government hasn&#8217;t noticed these outsized gains. I say this because the apparatchiks in DC &#8212; in an effort to wet their beaks and keep the spice flowing &#8212; are pushing for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/biden-expresses-support-forannual-tax-on-billionaires-unrealized-gains-11632498487\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the taxation of unrealized stock gains<\/a>. Heh. Yes, it&#8217;s a clown world. Yes; it sounds like a cryptocurrency, but it&#8217;s most definitely <em><strong>not<\/strong><\/em>. Cryptocurrencies are decentralized and private, while CBDCs are centralized and anything <em><strong>but<\/strong><\/em> private.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Credit:<\/strong><\/span> So what, exactly, is going on? Well &#8230; as economist Thorsten Polleit reminds us, &#8220;Fiat money causes inflation, economic crises, and wealth redistribution. But, above all, it&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/mises.org\/wire\/global-fiat-currency-one-ring-rule-them-all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a growth elixir for the state<\/a>, making it ever larger and more powerful at the expense of its citizens&#8217; and entrepreneurs&#8217; freedom.&#8221; The trouble is, fiat currency has a fatal flaw in that it has <em><strong>zero<\/strong><\/em> inherent value &#8212; so in the hands of politicians, it always ends up being self-destructive.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lenpenzo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/tweet-2Oct2021-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-68949\" src=\"http:\/\/lenpenzo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/tweet-2Oct2021-3-748x1024.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"538\" height=\"737\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lenpenzo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/tweet-2Oct2021-3-748x1024.png 748w, https:\/\/lenpenzo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/tweet-2Oct2021-3-219x300.png 219w, https:\/\/lenpenzo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/tweet-2Oct2021-3-768x1051.png 768w, https:\/\/lenpenzo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/tweet-2Oct2021-3-1122x1536.png 1122w, https:\/\/lenpenzo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/tweet-2Oct2021-3.png 1216w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 538px) 100vw, 538px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Credit:<\/strong><\/span> In essence, with our monetary system in its death throes, the powers that be are desperately trying to do whatever they can to maintain their positions of privilege, which depends on continued dominance of the global monetary system. &#8220;Against this backdrop,&#8221; says Polleit, &#8220;it should be quite understandable why the political globalists see creating a single world currency as an important step toward seizing absolute power.&#8221; And if you don&#8217;t believe <em><strong>me<\/strong><\/em>, just listen to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bis.org\/speeches\/sp210910.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">their own words<\/a> &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9FM4Fu2ujDE?controls=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Debit:<\/strong><\/span> Of course, a CBDC will not only lead to the eventual demise of cash; it will also make it easy for central banks and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.industryweek.com\/the-economy\/trade\/article\/21174069\/chinas-digital-yuan-is-all-about-dataand-perhaps-control\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the state to spy on people&#8217;s transactions<\/a>. Not to mention control what they can &#8212; and can&#8217;t &#8212; buy. However, this &#8216;competition&#8217; won&#8217;t last long because, sadly, most people will fail to recognize the loss of privacy and personal economic control that comes with holding CBDCs &#8212; and so they&#8217;ll decide that it makes more sense to hold CBDC deposits in a &#8216;risk-free&#8217; central bank, rather than the usual FRNs in a commercial institution that is <a href=\"https:\/\/bankingjournal.aba.com\/2021\/09\/powell-yellen-discuss-persistent-inflation-systemic-risk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vulnerable to bankruptcy<\/a>. In fact, this is the type of command and control economy that emerged in National Socialist Germany in the 1930s, (where) the state formally retained ownership of the means of production.&#8221; Are you not surprised? Then again, that assumes the state can actually force &#8220;consumers&#8221; to comply &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eG2IPRr--nM?start=11&amp;autoplay=0 title=\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Credit:<\/strong><\/span> And while all of this should be alarming to anybody who cherishes liberty and individual freedom, the most chilling &#8216;feature&#8217; of a CBDC is that is can be used to stifle unwanted political opposition by deactivating the currency of those who disagree with the politicians in power. Which is one more reason to hold physical precious metals. In fact, both spouses didn&#8217;t utter a single word to each other through the entire weekend.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday afternoon, the man &#8212; who was an incredibly deep sleeper &#8212; realized that he was going to need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM on Monday for an early morning business flight.<\/p>\n<p>So, not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and <em><strong>lose <\/strong><\/em>to his wife), the man wrote on a piece of paper, &#8220;Please wake me at 5:00 AM.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He then left the note in a place where he was absolutely certain his wife would find it.<\/p>\n<p>The next morning the man woke up &#8212; only to discover that it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight.<\/p>\n<p>Furious, the husband was determined to find his wife and find out why she didn&#8217;t get him out of bed as he requested.<\/p>\n<p>Then he noticed a piece of paper on the nightstand.<\/p>\n<p>It said: &#8220;Wake up.
